The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía is the largest contemporary art museum in our country, comprising, together with the Museo Nacional del Prado and the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, the Paseo del Arte, one of Madrid's main cultural and tourist centers. Its collections offer a broad perspective on the history of Spanish art from the end of the 19th century to the present, with works as emblematic as the Guernica by Picasso or One world by Ángeles Santos. However, its appeal goes beyond its collections: being a living museum in continuous movement, it offers an active schedule of temporary exhibitions and activities, which make it a fundamental part of the cultural life of the capital.
